Giving Tuesday
Send Future Creators to Camp – Year Two!
We’re back for a second year of our GivingTuesday campaign to send kids to art camps and school trips at Homer Watson House & Gallery in 2026. Last year we reached our goal of $2,500 / sending 40 kids to camp, and this year we want to raise that number to 44 or $3,000!
As a National Historic Site, our programs offer kids a chance to explore creativity, connect with nature, and experience the arts—regardless of financial barriers. Your donation provides full-day subsidies for families who need support.
Donate on December 2, or throughout the whole month of December and help HWHG continue this meaningful work. Together, we can give more children the chance to learn, grow, and create.
Last Years Impact
Through your generous donations HWHG was able to send 9 campers from ages 4-14, for 2-3 full weeks of camp!
“I wanted to thank the staff, and everyone involved in the summer camp. My daughter did three weeks and I’m so thankful. She had such an amazing experience. She learned so much and said it was the best thing ever to do art all day. I really want to thank the camp counsellors. They made her experience so amazing. They were so caring and helpful. Thank you for the chance to be able to put her in camp and all the memories she made.” (Parent of 2025 Scholarship Camper)
“My child absolutely loved their time here! Excellent camp activities, the space was calm, not overwhelming.” (Parent of 2025 Scholarship Camper)
