Wheels to Watson

School trips fuel imagination, creativity, and lifelong learning. But rising costs are putting the brakes on opportunities for schools. With your support, we can help ensure students can experience Canadian art and history at Homer Watson House & Gallery.

Help us drive creative spirit, consider contributing to the Wheels to Watson campaign! 

Our Goal:  $2500 or 5 school buses  

That’s 5 school buses based on an average bus rental cost of $500.  

For schools, the cost of renting a school bus largely depends on factors such as location, distance, and duration. As a result, prices can vary significantly from one school to another. Our goal is to ensure that rising transportation costs do not become a barrier to students and teachers wanting to experience Canadian art and heritage. 

Your Donations 

The Wheels to Watson fund will be available for schools to apply to during the 2025–2026 school year. All proceeds from the Wheels to Watson fundraiser will go directly toward covering schools’ bus rental costs. 

By donating through CanadaHelps, you will automatically receive an electronic tax receipt. This applies to all donations made through the platform. Learn more about CanadaHelps here.

For Schools 

The Wheels to Watson fund will be available for the 2025–2026 school year. An application form will be available on our website for schools interested in accessing the fund. Funding will be distributed on a first-come, first-served basis. Please check back regularly for updates and more details.
