Metamorphosis
Featuring Eastwood Collegiate Institute Students
January 9 – 24th, 2026

Homer Watson House & Gallery presents Metamorphosis, an exhibition celebrating students from Eastwood Collegiate Institute’s Visual Arts Program.
Much like the tides of the ocean, the students of Eastwood Collegiate Institute’s Grade 12 Visual Arts course are continually evolving into the accomplished creators they’ve been working towards their whole lives. Artists in arms have watched their peers with bated breath as the refreshing waves of creativity wash away the ills of the past for these graduates to take a step into the deep waters of a lifelong education. Light filters through these tides differently, what once stood tall and proud now bends and curves in unique ways. Each and every student intends to show the world what a beautiful life lies beneath the surface of rough waters through their art. A journey of challenge and change is forecast. As the colours recede into the deep a new world emerges, a life of the unknown awaits the students of Eastwood, and they are ready to face their Metamorphosis.
The Senior Art class asks you to breach the surface of Metamorphosis, and explore a realm of creative perspectives. Join us on our journey of growth and exploration as we share our accomplishments and art to your community.
