The Gallery has a rich history of being a hub for learning, teaching, creating, and enjoying art. In celebration, we are hosting our 6th annual Art Fair. The Art Fair will include a wide range of artistic styles and mediums from paintings, photography, sculptures, textiles, and so much more!

CreekFest returns down the street! Organised by artist collective The Creek Collective, Reep Green Solutions, and our neighbours of Lower Doon, CreekFest will share the day with Art Fair again this year, providing lots of performances and opportunities for family activities.

We will consider all artist/creators vendor submissions. All artists and creators are welcome to participate as vendors. Join us in a celebration of artistic talent of the KW-region! The Gallery does not take commission on any sales.

The Loch Doon area was memorialized in celebrated Scottish poet, Robert Burns piece “Ye banks and braes O’ bonnie Doon”

Ye banks and braes o’ bonny Doon,
How can ye bloom sae fresh and fair?
How can ye chant, ye little birds,
And I sae weary fu’ o’ care?
Thou’lt break my heart, thou warbling bird,
That wantons thro’ the flowering thorn:
Thou minds me o’ departed joys,
Departed, never to return.

Aft hae I rov’d by bonnie Doon,
To see the rose and woodbine twine;
And ilka bird sang o’ its love,
And fondly sae did I o’ mine.
Wi’ lightsome heart I pu’d a rose,
Fu’ sweet upon its thorny tree;
And my fause lover stole my rose,
But, ah! he left the thorn wi’ me.
