Chapter 3: Reading Out Loud

Thursday, August 13, 2026 | 5-8pm

Bring your current book and a blanket to set up on the lawn. Don’t have a book to read? Make a small donation to the gallery and receive a mystery wrapped book…

This time we will have an Open Mic section between 5pm and 6pm! So if you have your own writing you want to share, or you are working on your reading or poetry delivery skills, come for a 5-minute slot and read to the folks wandering the Clothesline Art Sale! Email events@homerwatson.on.ca to claim a spot ahead of time, or show up on the day-of and hope there are some spots left!

Bring whatever you need to be comfortable, including shade!  

Visit enough of our 2026 Books and Blankets events to be entered into a draw for books from several local authors!
