Fall Emerging Artist Clothesline Art Sale

We strive to make art more accessible, and the Clothesline Art Sale is the perfect opportunity for art lovers to purchase a wide range of art at varying prices. This particular sale is dedicated exclusively to providing an opportunity for artists who have been practicing for 7 years or less. Please note that the title of Emerging Artist does not dictate any specific age, referring only to experience.
Unframed works will be displayed on clotheslines through the trees and along the edge of the park.
Art Vendors
We will consider all artwork that is original and unframed. All artists and creators are welcome to participate. Artwork is displayed on a clothesline only (must be light weight). Tables, tents, and display units are not allowed. Lawn chairs, clothes pins and bins for extra unframed works are highly recommended. The Gallery does not take commission on any sales.
Artist/Vendor fee: $25
Space: 10ft section of clothesline (comprised of two actual lines, one above the other)
Application Deadline*: Sunday, August 17, 11:59pm
*Please note: It is recommended that applicants submit their application early, as registration will close before the deadline if maximum capacity (30 spots) is reached.

Honey Bee Scribbles
Uniquely colourful images to recreate imagination on paper. Vibrant, bold representations of whatever is on the mind. Having fun is the keystone to the creation of these pieces.

Kay Compagnoni
Kay experiments with various mixed media forms such as acrylic, inks and collage. Her pieces play with colourful and energetic abstract styles and textures. She is influenced by nature and her travels and enjoys seeing the journey her pieces take.

Kieran's Creations
Kieran is a student artist who has been working on a plethora of digital drawings, lino prints, and more. Most of their pieces are inspired by nature or their nerdy interests. Kieran can't wait to meet like-minded people and share their creations!

Live Laugh Lichen
Live Laugh Lichen makes lino prints inspired by the beauty and ingenuity of nature. Carving and printing critters and landscapes both big and small, with a selection printed on recycled handmade paper with the aim to bring new life to used items.

Matthew Donnelly
Visit the rest of Southern Ontario through Matthew Donnelly's photography. With a focus on natural scenes, local waterfronts and tourist towns, his work captures the essence of the area in striking black and white and in vibrant colour.

Rosie Tew
Hello, my name is Rosie, and I am 13 years old. I love creating unique drawings and paintings. I enjoy creating with all forms of art and sharing my passion with others. All the art I make is handmade, from hand-painted cards to beaded earrings.

Sulakshana is an emerging artist based in Kitchener, Ontario. Using bold colours in her paintings, Sulakshana creates contrasting and dynamic elements, exploring themes of nostalgia, belonging, and reclaiming cultural identities.

Wendy Schell
Wendy Schell is as serious about art as the flavour of her ice cream! She loves to paint clouds and landscapes as well as experimenting with printmaking. Reduction lino cut and gelli printing are two favourites. Ice cream- World Class chocolate!
