HWHG Juried Show 2026
“Worth Waiting For”
November 13, 2026 – January 5, 2027
Watson, Cayley & Ferrie Galleries
Homer Watson House & Gallery’s annual juried exhibition showcases artwork from across Waterloo Region and celebrates the creativity shared throughout our community. In keeping with this year’s theme, Worth Waiting For artists are encouraged to embrace their relationships with the physical, natural, and artistic surroundings.
Artists are invited to explore the moments that shape their place and time— social, political, emotional, natural and technological. This exhibition brings together diverse artist practices that respond to both the literal and metaphorical influencing how we live, create and connect. These explorations can be captured in a variety of ways; therefore, all artistic techniques are welcome.
We welcome submissions that engage with themes including, but not limited to:
- Movement, migration, and change
- Industry, infrastructure, and built landscapes
- Contemporary culture, news, and global events
- Emotional, social, and political currents
- Energy, momentum, and transformation
